La Perla has an extensive menu and I love it. There are many options for everyone. We decided to go with the Caldo Perla and the Salmon a la Parrilla. Both dishes were delicious and looked exactly like the advertised photos. The portions are large and you will surely leave full.

This place is a family favorite. The staff is super helpful and attentive. Shortly after being seated you are served with complimentary tostadas de ceviche. I will advise that the hot sauce is HOT. I enjoy spicy food, but for those who do not I would suggest skipping the hot sauce. I usually stick to my usual of the Huanchingo frito which is a fried Red Snapper. This time around I did try their Ranchero oysters. These were really good, but I will say I was not expecting so much sauce with those. We have been here plenty of times over the years and I have not had a bad experience yet.
I'm not really sure where to begin. My parents and I were looking for a Mexican restaurant, and this was the only one open on memorial day. I had heard good things and we thought we would try it and oh my goodness... It was worth the risk. You walk in to a neat atmosphere of large televisions, and fishing gear on the walls. They clearly specialize in seafood and I know I will be getting some next time. The dishes are very authentic, well flavored, and come in a large variety. My mom and I both got a margarita, which was also very good and very well priced. I ordered chicken enchiladas. The plating it's self was very high-end, and the flavor of the food matches the look. My mom got beef nachos, and my dad got a spicy tortilla chip dish with grilled chicken. All three were amazing. For an appetizer we got chorizo cheese deep and holy cow- it was awesome. I love finding restaurants like this in town. I much prefer to eat local, and I sure do hope this place last. It is located up on the hill by Sabor Latino. This location has been known to not hold restaurants long so I hope this can change it.
